In June 2021, Ezra Ackermann announced the start of her new life via Instagram, «…I am trans and my pronouns are she/her.» She deliberately borrowed the name of her account from porn jargon; under #geilescheide, you can take part in the life of an artist who translates her identity into theatre plays and selfies with a social-political flavour. In her latest production, she uses materials and props to place individual people in the context of their external perception. And for Ezra Ackermann, it is always about acceptance as a precursor to love.
